The Scenic Touch – Ensemble goes Opera

The Scenic Touch – Ensemble goes Opera

We compiled a list of ensemble concert works which are perfectly suited for dramatic staging, especially during these challenging times. You can seek inspiration for special programming needs based on the following set of criteria:

• smaller ensemble works, optionally with small choir or soloists
• back catalogue and contemporary compositions
• all compositional styles
• the theatrical aspect is very important. Musicians have to / can move on stage and beyond, some pieces are based on a famous text or even use it
• audience involvement (on/off stage) is possible
• no specialized ensembles and no new music specialists are necessary
• no long rehearsal should be needed
• possible to combine with other works
